The Combined Defense Services Examination is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.

Age Limit :

For Air Force : 18 to 22 years.

Nationality:

A citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries Kenya, Uganda, The United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the Intentian of permanently settling in India.

Qualification :

Degree of Recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.


Exam Pattern for CDSE exam :

Subject Total Time Total Marks
English 120 minutes 100 marks
General Knowledge 120 minutes 100 marks
Elementary Mathematics 120 minutes 100 marks
