The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for conducting the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam-I,CDS exam is conducted by UPSC, two times, every year.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: A candidates must either be:
(i) a Citizen of India, or
(ii) a subject of Bhutan, or
(iii) a subject of Nepal, or
(iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962

Age Limit :
Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd July 1994 and not later than 01st July 1999 only are eligible

Qualification

Indian Naval Academy: The candidates must possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree.

Examination Pattern

Indian Military Academy Naval Academy and Air Force Academy:

English (Objective type): 100 marks

General Knowledge (Objective type): 100 marks

Elementary Mathematics (Objective type): 100 marks
