CDS Important Dates
Notification Date: 10 November, 2012
Last Date to Apply: 10 December, 2012
CDS Exam Date: 17 February, 2013 (Sunday)

Exam Pattern:
English 2 Hours 100
General Knowledge 2 Hours 100
Elementary Mathematics 2 Hours 100

CDS exam is conducted two times in a year in the month of February and May so whenever May month exam date will publish we will provide you.

with general information related to CDS exam as follows

Combined Defence Services (CDS) examination is conducted by the Union
Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment to the Indian Military
Academy, Officers Training Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy

Eligibility

Nationality:-
A candidate must either be

a) A citizen of India

b) A subject of Bhutan

c) A subject of Nepal

d) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 01, 1962 with
the of permanently settling in India'

e) A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma,
Sri Lanka and East African Countries or Vietnam with the intention of
permanently settling in India.
Age Limit, Gender and Marital Status:-

Indian Maritime Academy (IMA)

Unmarried Male aspirants aged between 18 and 22 years are eligible to apply.

Indian Naval Academy (INA):

Unmarried Male aspirants aged between 18 and 22 years of age are eligible
to apply.

Indian Air force Academy (IAA):

Unmarried Male aspirants aged between 18 and 22 years of age are eligible
to apply.

For Officers Training Academy (SSC Course for Men):-

Unmarried/Married Male aspirants aged between 18 and 22 years of age are
eligible to apply.

For Officers Training Academy SSC Course for Women (Non-Technical):-

Umarried Issueless Widows Issuless Divorcees aged between 18 and 22 years
of age are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification:-

For IMA and Officer's Training Academy:


Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

For Indian Naval Academy :

Engineering Degree from a recognized university or institution.

For AirForce Academy:

Degree from a recognized university (with Physics and Chemistry as
subjects in 10+2) or Bachelor of Engineering.
