Required Qualifications:

Earned doctorate in counsellor education or a related discipline

Qualified to teach core counselling courses, e.g., counselling theory and techniques, group counselling, ethics, multicultural counselling, career counselling

Experience with the practice of student development in higher education

Expertise in training and supervision of student development professionals or counsellors;

Potential for research and scholarship

Demonstrated commitment to serving culturally diverse communities

Preferred Qualifications:

Successful teaching experience in higher education

Experience mentoring and supervising graduate students and new professionals in student development

Three years of student development practice
