What is the competition calendar of CCSU or Central Connecticut State University of State Cheerleading Competition for Football? Do Cheerleading teams of CCSU also compete in both local and national competitions in Football? List me the names of the players in the team?

The CCSU Cheerleading program functions as both an athletic spirit team and a competition team. It cheers at all home football and mens/womens basketball games.

Tryouts are typically held in the spring (May or June). Its season officially begins near the end of August and culminates at the NCA Collegiate Championship (aka Nationals) in April down in Daytona Beach, FL.

In 2015 summer, the CCSU Cheerleading team attended NCA camp at Boston University and received a Silver Bid to the NCA Collegiate Championship.
