CAT is an all-India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as an entrance examination for the management programs offered by its business schools (B-schools) as well as other top Master of Business Administration (MBA) schools.

Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA

The Candidates appearing for the final year examination of Bachelor Degree examination may also apply

Number of attempts

A candidate can apply for the CAT and MAT entrance examination any number of times.

Admission Process
Candidate’s selection will be made on the basis of their performance at Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) conducted individually.

Reservation
Scheduled Caste – 15% of the total seats
Scheduled Tribes – 7.5% of the total seats
OBC (Non- Creamy layer) – 27% of the total seats

There is no restriction to appear in Common Aptitude Test (CAT), you can appear many time in CAT exam so prepare hard for the next exam.

CAT Exam Pattern:

Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation
No. of Questions: 50

Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning
No. of Questions: 50

Total No. of Questions: 100
Total Duration: 2 hrs. 50 mins
