CAT Entrance Exam Timing

Hi I would like to have the eligibility details of the Common Admission Test conducted for the admission to the Masters of Business Administration program offered by the different IIM’s as well as top Management Institutes?

Gaining a MBA degree that too from IIMs or some other presumed administration establishments in India is considered as a brilliant go to the universal business world. Taking a gander at this situation, the Government of India underlines more on a complete and straightforward choice criteria. With a specific end goal to choose predominant ability, Ministry of HRD conceptualized the CAT exam.

CAT stands for Common Admission Test. It is led by the six IIMs as a national level passage test in selecting understudies for their business organization program at the Masters level. Aside from IIMs, the exam doesn't neglect to have its impact on other presumed B-schools, for example, SP Jain, MICA, TA Pai and some more.

CAT 2016 Eligibility:

The applicant must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with no less than half stamps or identical CGPA (45% if there should be an occurrence of the competitors fitting in with Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD)/Differently Abled (DA) class) recompensed by any of the Universities joined by a demonstration of the focal or state lawmaking body in India or other instructive foundations built up by a demonstration of Parliament or pronounced to be regarded as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or have a proportional capability perceived by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

CAT 2016 Pattern:-

Length of time of the examination has been expanded to 180 minutes rather than 170 minutes. There will be three areas ,'Quantitative Aptitude (QA)', 'Information Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)' and Verbal and Reading Comprehens particle (VRC)'. QA and VRC will have 34 addresses each, and DILR will have 32 questions. A few inquiries in every area may not be of various decision sort. Rather, coordinate answers are to be written on the screen.

The scoring plan for various decision inquiries is as per the following:

Each right answer is granted 3 marks.

An off base answer gets - 1.

No imprints are given or deducted for un-endeavored questions.
