Qualification:

You must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India

Reservations

As per the Government of India requirements, 15% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) and 7½% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.

27% of seats are reserved for Other Backward Classes candidates belonging to the “non-creamy” layer (NC-OBC).

Yes you can appear for CAT for MBA at the age of 34.

Common Admission Test is conducted on National level by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for admission into Post Graduate level Management Degree/Diploma programmes

CAT Exam Eligibility

Age limit-

There is no age limit for this exam.

Educational qualification-

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
45% mark for SC/ST candidates.

CAT Exam Syllabus

CAT will be of two sections:

The first section will focus on Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation;

The second section will focus on Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.

The exam will be for 170 minutes.
