The main areas of work for HRM functions are:

Recruitment and Selection: Involves preparing job structure, attracting people with right credentials and skills, with correct mind set and attitude.

Manpower Planning: Assessing the current and future manpower needs in the organization, progression planning and career planning. This area is very central in which the future force of the organization lies.

Human Resource Administration: essential organization’s HR policies and procedures and functioning thereof

Compensation and Benefits: shaping salary structures, worker perquisites etc, covers health, security, safety, terminal benefits, and member of staff welfare facilities. This area is very vital for retaining the talent in organization.
