I am a Electronic Engineer and want to join Indian Army. Is there any scope for Electronic Engineer in Indian Army?

Notified by Additional Directorate General Recruiting / AG Branch in May.


Eligibility Criteria
Age of Aspirants should be between 19 and 25 yrs as of first day of month in which course is due to commence
Aspirants must hold Engineering Degree.
Aspirants must be unmarried.

Training at Indian Military Academy(IMA) Dehradun in July
Notified by Additional Directorate General Recruiting / AG Branch in Apr and Oct


Eligibility Criteria
Age of Aspirants should be between 20 and 27 yrs as of first day of month in which course is due to commence
Aspirants must have BE / B Tech final appearing & degree holders in notified streams of Engineer.
Aspirants must be UnMarried / Married
Duration of Training is of 1 year.


Training at IMA
Short Service Commission Technical Men
Notified (twice a year) by Additional Directorate General Recruiting / AG Branch in Dec/Jan and Jun / Jul


Eligibility Criteria
Age of Aspirants should be between 20 to 27 yrs as on first day of the month in which course is due to commence
Aspirants must have Engineering Degree in notified discipline


As you are graduate, you can give Combined defense services exam(CDSE)conducted by UPSC twice in a year.
Aspirants must be unmarried.
The selection consits of following steps given below:
1.Entrance exam
2.Screening Test
3.Group Disussion
4.Interview
5.Medical Test
