Postgraduate Secondary Initial Teacher Education
The PGCE is a university based programme that we offer in partnership with a large number of schools who we work with on all our teacher training programmes, including School Direct and SCITT.

Learning Outcomes

The PGCE Secondary trains you to teach in both secondary schools and sixth form colleges. You will:

learn to teach your subject across the secondary age range and key stages, and understand how it fits within the wider curriculum offer for this age range
