Re: Can Diploma Holders Are Eligible For JEE
Yes Diploma students who have completed their degree, or are in the final year of doing so, they are eligible to apply for JEE Main. But Diploma holder will not be given admission to NITs and CFTIs. If they qualify JEE Main, they will have to appear for JEE Advanced, and they will be given admission like class 12th pass students. No lateral entry. Joint Entrance Examination is national level examination conducts to provide admissions in undergraduate engineering courses in IITs, NITs and IIITs. It is conducted in two modes which are online (computer based mode) and offline (pen and paper based mode). Eligibility: Diploma Holders: To appear in JEE Advanced, a diploma holder can apply in JEE Main. But their rank & score in JEE Main will not be considered for admission in NITs & CFTIs. No board marks will be taken into account for calculating JEE Main score from the year 2017 onwards.
