Require Qualifications
High school education or GED
Must be 21 years of age by application filing date
Possess a valid driver's license with the ability to operate motor vehicles
Will be required to successfully complete pre-employment polygraph, background check, physical and psychological screening
Candidates attend an 18-week, live-in academy at the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training in Richmond, Kentucky unless already certified by the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council as a Kentucky Peace Officer.

Police Dispatcher post
Require Qualifications
High school education or GED
Possess a valid driver's license
Successfully complete pre-employment polygraph, psychological evaluation and background check
Candidates attend a 5-week, live-in academy at the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training in Richmond, Kentucky unless already certified by the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council as a Police Dispatcher

Security Officer post
Require Qualifications

High school education or GED
Have a valid driver's license
Will be required to successfully complete pre-employment polygraph and background check
No experience is required
