The University of Calicut is the largest University in Kerala. The University was established in the year 1968.

The University lays its emphasis on fostering quality human resource and promoting productive research that benefit both local communities and wider humanity.

The Calicut University was released notification from eligible candidates to admission in PG Programme through an Entrance Examination.

Those candidates who want to take admission in various Postgraduate courses have to appear in the entrance examination.

Eligibility Criteria
For M.Sc General Biotechnology

Degree (10+2+3) with 55% marks/equivalent grade in Biotechnology, Bio-Informatics, Biochemistry, Micro Biology, Botany, Zoology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, B.Sc. Agriculture, B.V.Sc, B.Pharm, Life Sciences of this University or any other equivalent Degree approved by the University.
