Hi I would like to know the rules for the Calicut University’s college Union Election as well as the schedule for the the year 2015-2016?

The objectives of the Student’s Union at Calicut University are to promote and coordinate social and cultural activities of students, as well as to create in them an awareness of civil duties and rights.

COLLEGE UNION ELECTION SCHEDULE 2015-16 is as given below:

1. Date of Notification: 01.09.2015 2 p.m.
2. Publication of Preliminary electoral roll: 01.09.2015 2.30 p.m.
3. Last date and time for correction/ addition/ deletion in the preliminary electoral roll : 03.09.2015 1 pm
4. Publication of final electoral roll: 03.09.2015 4 pm
5. Last date and time for filing nominations: 07.09.2015 1 pm
6. Scrutiny of nominations: 07.09.2015 2.30 pm

7. Publication of valid list of nominations: 07.09.2015 4.30pm
8. Last date and time for withdrawal of nominations: 08.09.2015 1 pm
9. Publication of final list of nominations: 08.09.2015 3 pm
10. Poll, if necessary: 15.09.2015 9.30 am to 12.30 pm
11. Counting of votes: 15.09.2015 2 pm onwards
12. Publication of Results: Immediately after counting.
