University of Calcutta announced Research Fellowships (JRF/ SRF) for UGC NET/ CSIR UGC NET qualified candidates.

The tenure for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) will be 2 years and that for Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) will be 3 years.

Application Form for Junior Research Fellowship in Science/ Humanities-







The fellowship amount for JRF is Rs 16000 per month and that of SRF is Rs 18000 per month along with 30% HRA for both the posts.

The annual contingency, however, for Science Students is Rs 12000 (JRF) and Rs 25000 (SRF) and for Arts & Humanities candidates is Rs 10000 (JRF) and Rs 20500 (SRF).

Selected candidates can apply for SRF after completion of their JRF by writing and submitting an application to the Supervisor.

The supervisor will henceforth apply the application to the HOD (Head of Department) with a panel of 5 External Experts and 1 expert will be selected from that panel by HOD which will further constitute of the Three Member Assessment Committee for interviewing the candidate.
