The Calcutta University is conducting entrance exam for LLM admission. The Calcutta University is also provides LLM Entrance Syllabus.

University of Calcutta, Faculty of Law is conducting written test for admission into various 1st year of 2 year LLM Courses.

50% of the total seats available in Calcutta University are filled by BA.LLB (Hons) candidates of this university whereas, to fill rest 50% seats, entrance exam is conducted.

LLM Program is being offered by following list of institutions:
Department of Law, CU
Jogesh Chandra Chaudhury Law College
Surendranath Law College

Calcutta University does not prescribe any syllabus for BA LLB entrance exam. However, questions in the exam will be based on subjects such as English, GK, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning,.

Selection Procedure:

Fifty percent (50%) of the total number of seats in the 1st year shall be reserved for B.A.LL.B (Hons.) applicants of this university, for the remaining seats entrance test will be conducted.

Written Test The written test will be of 100 marks, 60 marks for MCQ, and 40 marks for the subjective test from B.A.-LL.B syllabus of Calcutta University.
