Re: Calculator Allowed in IES Exam

Hey as per my idea Calculator is not allowed in objective papers. However, it is allowed in the conventional papers

Eligibility
Nationality
Candidate should be Indian

Qualification
A candidate must have an Engineering degree from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central Government or State Legislature in India. or
The candidate must have passed a Graduate Membership examination of the institute of electronic and Telecommunication of India OR
Obtained a degree/ diploma in Engineering from such foreign institute/ university and under such condition as may be recognizable in the eye of Government for the purpose from time to time


Exam pattern
One Engineering Discipline should be chosen from the following categories:
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering


The written examination will comprise two sections:
Section I - objective types questions
Section II – conventional (essay) type questions papers.
Both Sections will cover the entire syllabus of the relevant engineering subject.

Age limit:
The minimum age attained by the candidate is 21 years and the candidate must not be more than 30 years.

Physical test
Interview
