CPT stands for the Common Proficiency Test takes place twice in a year in the June and December months .

Important Dates for CA CPT June, 2014 Examination:
Date of CPT entrance exam : December 14, 2014.
Starting dates of online application form: October 07, 2014.
Last date for submission of application form: October 28, 2014.

Eligibility:
Interested Aspirants who are interested in pursuing Chartered Accountancy course, then there is no upper age limit.
Interested aspirants must have qualified Class XII Exams.

Exam pattern:
Common Proficiency Test consists 4 MCQ question Papers.
Topics in CPT course are as follows:
General Economics
Fundamentals of Accounting
Quantitative Maths Aptitude
Mercantile Laws
The entrance test comprises of 200 marks.
For each wrong answer there is Negative marking
The entrance exam is of two hours
