To become CA you have to crack CA CPT (Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test) Examination. CA CPT is conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for admitting the aspiring students to Chartered Accountancy course. The institute conducts Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test (CA CPT) twice in a year (June and December), at all the major cities throughout India. CA CPT Course and CA CPT Exam Fee: For CA CPT Course The registration and tuition fee is Rs.6000 which is to be paid at the time of submitting the fully filled in application form for registration. For CA CPT Exam A student has to follow the examination notification to be issued by the Examination Department of the ICAI and apply in the prescribed form along with the examination fee of Rs.1000. Eligibility criteria: Educational Qualification: The students must have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent, from any recognized Board. CA CPT Exam Patter: This is 200 marks, objective type multiple choice questions test is divided into two sessions of 2 Hr. duration each is conducted in two following modes by the institute. 1. Paper Pencil Mode: Paper Pencil Mode of Examination is conducted in morning session and evening session with each carrying two parts. 2. Online Registration Mode: For Online Registration Mode of Examination, the students have to fill an examination form Online and then, this examination is held at various centers across India.
