BSNL JTO Telecom

I have completed my engineering degree and want to apply for the BSNL Junior Telecom Officers (JTO) Telecom Exam. Will you please tell me what the Eligibility required for BSNL JTO Exam and if possible also tell me about Paper Pattern for BSNL JTO Exam?

Junior Telecom Officers are an important work requirement of a telecom organization like BSNL. There is a need for these officers in various territorial as well as functioning circles of the company.

In BSNL JTO's are selected for selected from three disciplines of telecom, civil and electrical engineering.

The job profile of a Junior Telecom Officer in BSNL includes handling of core technical functions like network management, operation and maintenance of switches.

Eligibility required for BSNL JTO Exam:-

For JTO Telecom:-

Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering college/university:

i. Telecommunication
ii. Electronics
iii. Radio
iv. Computer
v. Electrical
vi. Information Technology
vii. Instrumentation

JTO (Electrical)

Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent in Electrical Engineering degree from a recognized engineering college/university

Age Limit:-

Age should not be more than 30 years of age on the closing date for receipt of applications.

Paper Pattern for BSNL JTO Exam :-

The examination will be of three hours duration with one question paper containing the following three sections:

For JTOs(Telecom)

Section-I : Engineering Stream : 50 questions
Section-II : Engineering Stream : 50 questions
Section-III : General Ability test : 20 questions

The question paper will be fully objective type with multiple options as answers to each question. The standard of papers in Engineering subjects will be that of Engineering examination of an Indian university.

BSNL JTO Exam date:

Starting Date for Submission of Online Application: 01/12/2015.
Last date for Submission of online application: 10/12/2015.
JTO Exam Date: 20/12/2015.
Admit Cards availability Date: 05 Days Before the Exam.
