As per my knowledge, there is no medical standard to apply for Junior Telecom Officer (JTO) Post job in Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). The job profile of a Junior Telecom Officer in BSNL includes handling of core technical functions like network management, operation and maintenance of switches. JTO (Telecom) JTO (Electrical) JTO Eligibility Nationality Indian Educational Qualification BE/BTech. or equivalent in Telecom/ Electronics/ Radio/ Computer/ Electrical/ Information Technology/ Instrumentation Engineering OR M.Sc. (Electronics)/M.Sc.(Computer Science) GATE Papers Any one: CS / EC / EE / IN Age Limit Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates: upto 5 years OBC candidates: upto 3 years SC/ST-PWD candidates: upto 15 years OBC-PWD candidates: upto 13 years OC-PWD candidates: upto 10 years BSNL employees: upto 5 years Ex-Servicemen: as per Central Govt. Rules. J & K candidates: relaxation shall be in accordance with DoP & Ts notification No. 15012/7/1991-Estt.(D) dated 07-12-2007, pertaining to Residents of State of Jammu & Kashmir (Relaxation of upper age limit for recruitment to Central Civil Services & Posts) Rules-1997 Selection Procedure for the BSNL JTO Recruitment through GATE Selection will be against the vacancies of a particular Circle as per the preference of the candidate. One will be required to choose one circle while filling the application and will be considered for the same. A circle wise merit list will prepared by the authorities based on the GATE scores of the applicants and the vacancies available under the circle. Accordingly a circle wise cut off will also be determined and used to screen the applicants while preparing the merit list for each circle. There will be no interview or examination for this recruitment. One who is shortlisted will be required to get their documents verified and will be issued call letters thereafter. There will be a pre-appointment training which candidates will have to qualify to be selected. One who does not qualify in the Pre-appointment training in the first attempt will be given a second attempt to qualify. |
