Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur was established in the year 1959. It is located at Kalyanpur, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India .

BRaIN(Biological Research and Innovation Network) is a part of Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur .

The club is for the Biology enthusiasts with interests in different areas of Biology like Genetics and Evolution, Molecular Biology, Botany , etc.

The club organizes a number of lectures and workshops at IIT Kanpur as well as guest lecturers from across the country.

Brain has conducted 3 major summer projects this year:

1. Emotive Headset.

2. Mutant fly.

3. Alcohol Biosensor.
