Biju Patnaik University of Technology is a type of public state university.

It was established in the year 2002.

It is located in Rourkela, Odisha, India.

It is affiliated by UGC, AICTE, Council of Architecture.

BPUT has 2 campuses

Bhubaneswar Campus:

Bhubaneswar campus is situated in Pokhariput, near Khandagiri. Generally
examination related works are carried out at Bhubaneswar.

Chhend Campus, Rourkela:

Rourkela campus is positioned in Chhend. Almost all administrative work,
Foundation Day celebration and Convocations are done in Rourkela.

Center for Advanced Post Graduate Studies

BPUT has a post-graduation institute of its own called as - Center for
Advanced Post Graduate Studies. It is situated in southern part of its Chhend
campus.
