The ACCA qualification is a globally-recognized professional accountancy qualification. It is a mark of quality and professionalism, providing one with the core knowledge in all areas of accountancy to ensure that one has the complete skill set required of finance professional.

Modules
Fundamental level

The Fundamentals Level is divided into two modules Knowledge and Skills

The Knowledge module introduces one to the core areas of financial and management accounting tested across three papers.
F1 – Accountant in Business
F2 – Management Accounting
F3 – Financial Accounting


The Skills module comprehensively covers the main technical areas of law, performance management, taxation, financial reporting, auditing and financial management. The Skills module is positioned at an intellectual level equivalent to a Bachelors’ degree.
F4 – Corporate and Business Law
F5 – Performance Management
F6 – Taxation
F7 – Financial Reporting
F8 – Audit and Assurance
F9 – Financial Management

Professional level

The Professional Level is divided into two modules; Essentials and Options. Both of the modules at Professional Level have been set at the same ability level as a Masters degree.

These three exams build upon the technical skills acquired at throughout the Fundamentals Level. They explore advanced professional skills, techniques and values that one will require to act as an expert accountant in an advisory or consultancy role at senior level.
P1 – Governance, Risk and Ethics
P2 – Corporate Reporting
P3 – Business Analysis


The level builds on the technical knowledge one will already have. It will also explore more advanced professional skills, techniques and values. These are required at a senior level by accountants working in an advisory or consultancy role.
P4 – Advanced Financial Management
P5 – Advanced Performance Management
P6 – Advanced Taxation
P7 – Advanced Audit and Assurance

Paying for your programme

The fees and length of one’s programme will be dependent on the number of papers one choose to take. The table below shows the options available:

Key dates
BPP University's ACCA programmes start in August and February every year.
There is no formal deadline for applications; however one should apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
