Selection shall be held in two phases as under: -

A. First Phase
i) Written Examination

B. Second Phase
i) Physical Measurement (PST)
ii) Typing Speed Test (only for HC (Min)
iii) Documentation (Checking of Documents)
iv) Medical Examination.

Written Test
Written Test will be objective type of 3 Hours. The Test comprises four parts which carry total marks of 200.

Part-I Physics 60
Part-II Mathematics 60
Part-III Chemistry 30
Part-IV English & GK 50
Total 200

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
-Race: 1.6 KM race in 6.5 Minutes for Male and 800 Meters to be completed in 4 Minutes for Female candidates.
-Long Jump: 11 Feet (3 Chances) for Male and 9 Fee (3 chances) for Female.
-High Jump: 3 ½ Feet (3 chances) for Male and 3 Feet (3 chances) for Female. Ex-servicemen & department candidates are free from this test.

Physical standards

For Male Candidates
Height : 165 cms (for General, SC, ST and OBC candidates of all States).
Chest : Unexpanded – 77 cms/ Expanded – 82 cms
Weight : Corresponding to Height

For Female Candidates
Height : 157 cms
Chest : Not applicable.
Weight : Corresponding to Height.
