Location
Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala is situated approximately 35 km North of Kannur (Cannanore) and 135 km South of Mangalore, on the West Coast of peninsular India

Accessibility
Indian Naval Academy is well connected by rail and road. The nearest railway station is at Payyanur, a town located 10 km away from the naval base. Payyanur is situated along NH 17 between Mangalore and Kannur.

Climate
Ezhimala has a tropical climate. Exceptionally heavy rainfall is experienced during monsoons, which last from May/June to December.

Clothing
Tropical clothes are worn throughout the year. Light woollens may however be carried for wearing while visiting Ooty/ Bangalore/ Wayanad during the course of training.
