Board of Secondary Education, Odisha was founded in November 3, 1955, it is a board of education for public and private schools under the state government of Odisha, India.

This board controls and maintains all the necessary secondary education in the state of Odisha and this board also controls all the cultural programs, courses of studies, certification for successful students.

The board has 5 central zonal offices, in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Balasore, Baripada, Berhampur and Sambalpur.
