As you want to know BITS admission Test (BITSAT) question and other information of exam, so that you can remember easily. Exam pattern Sections Subjects Number of questions Part I Physics 40 Part II Chemistry 40 Part III (a) English Proficiency 15 (b) Logical Reasoning 10 Part IV Mathematics 45 Total 150 Time duration for BITSAT 2017 is 3 hours (without break) All questions in BITSAT 2017 will be objective in nature. Each question will have 4 answer options, out of which the candidates have to choose only 1 correct answer option. The entrance exam has a total of 150 questions from all the sections Question Paper for BITSAT 2017 will have 4 sections – Part I, Part II, Part III and Part IV There is no time limit for any of the 4 sections of BITSAT 2017, thus candidates can attempt or go back to any of the question from any section and correct or make changes in the answer option. Each correct answer will be awarded with 3 marks, while 1 mark (-1) will be deducted for each incorrect answer. For un attempted questions, the examinees will be given no marks or zero marks. In case the candidates answer all 150 questions within the given time of 3 hours (without skipping any question) can attempt an additional 12 questions (four each from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry only). But in this case, he/she will not be able to make changes or corrections in any of the earlier 150 questions. BITSAT 2017 question paper is designed in a way that a good examinee will be able to complete it within 3 hours, while a brilliant candidate will have the opportunity to attempt extra 12 questions, thus giving them the opportunity for scoring high Application fees BITSAT 2017 application fee: Rs.2200 for male candidates BITSAT 2017 application fee: Rs.1700 for female candidates BITSAT 2017 application fee: US $50 (Rs. 3100) for both male and female candidates who have opted for Dubai as test centre Eligibility Applicants should have passed class 12 or equivalent exam (from any state or central board of school education) with 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. They also need to have secured 60% marks separately in each of the three subjects. Proficiency in English is another requirement for appearing in BITSAT 2017. Only those candidates, who are appearing in class 12th in the year 2017 or have cleared 12th in 2016, are eligible for BITSAT 2017. Top rankers or candidates with Rank 1 in the central or state boards in India will be offered admissions to the programmes of their choice, irrespective of their score/rank in BITSAT 2017, but must meet the aforesaid eligibility criteria. |
