The name of the Director of the Birla Institute of Technology & Science Goa Campus is Prof. Sasikumar Punnekkat. He Joined the K Birla Goa Campus as Director and Sr. Professor (Computer Science & Information Systems) on 25th February, 2015

The prof holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science (1997) from University of York, UK


Achievements :

He has over 30 years rich experience in academics, research & administration.
His research & development experience as a Scientist at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, ISRO, Thiruvananthapuram (1984-2004)

and international academic experience as Professor of Dependable Software Engineering at School of Innovation, Design & Engineering, Mälardalen University, Sweden (since 2007) are of noteworthy mention.
