Birsa Agricultural University is an agricultural university established on 26 June 1981, after its formal inauguration by the then Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi.

Its primary objective is to develop area specific technologies and manpower in the field of agriculture, animal husbandry and forestry for the agricultural development of the plateau region of Bihar & Jharkhand.

One will be admitted to diploma as well as certificate course as per merit list prepared on the basis of I.Sc / 10+2 & 10th standard, respectively

Seats and Reservation
There are 10 seats in both the courses and both men and women will be eligible for admission.
The reservation policy of the State Government is followed.
