The Uttar Pradesh has a number of research institutions. In this view, Lucknow was announced a Biotechnology City. These institutes provide great back up in the development of Biotech Park.

Bioinformatics Centre is supported by DBT and CSIR was incepted at Industrial Toxicology Research Centre, Lucknow. The centre is now working at Biotech Park and offering training programes.
