Re: Biology Syllabus for UP TGT and UP PGT
TGT stands for Trained Graduate Teacher and the PGT Post stands for the Graduate Teachers. A TGT teacher is a trained graduate teacher. They teach 6-10 standards. A PGT teacher is a post graduate teacher. They teach 11-12. Syllabus for written examination for PGT (Biology) Here I am uploading a file which contains the Syllabus for written examination for PGT (Biology). Click to download. Here I am also giving you some of the content of the attached file: Diversity of living world Taxonomic aids, keys, specimen management ; Systematic and binomial system of nomenclature; Classification of living organisms( five kingdom classification, major groups and principles of classification within each group) ; General description of monera, protozoa, fungi, algae, bryophytes, pteridophyes, gymnosperms, angiosperms ( major groups of angiosperms upto sub class) ; Botanical gardens ,herbaria, zoological parks and museums .Salient features of animal ( nonchordates up to phylum level and chordates up to class level).
