For Ph.D.: Masters in Basic Science or Bachelors in Applied Science. These include M.Sc. (Agriculture), B.Tech., B.E., B.V.Sc., B.Pharma. (4 year course), MBBS, BDS, M.Pharma. Candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on written test marks, CV and Scientific write-up.

For Integrated Ph.D./M.Sc.: Bachelors in any Basic Science.

For Ph.D. Program in TCIS: M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry or Biology.

As per your request, I am giving you eligibility Criteria for admission in PH.D course. Have a look on following details.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants need to pass master in any stream of science Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Biological Sciences/Ecology & Environmental Sciences/Biodiversity/Psychology or equivalent, B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech or MBBS degree with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA(55% or equivalent CGPA for SC/ST).

Applicants need to have one of the following score card:

National Eligibility Test (NET) with VALID CSIR-JRF / UGC-JRF
OR
DBT-JRF-A / ICMR-JRF / DBT-BINC
OR
CSIR-LSa or DAE-JESTb* or GATEb* or GPATb* or NBHM in last two years
OR
INSPIRE-Ph.D. fellowship
OR
IISER BS-MSc (All IISERs) Dual degree students

Cut off rank

For CSIR-LS rank-holders, up to rank 200
For DAE-JEST/GATE/GPAT rank-holders, up to rank 500
For IISER BS-MS dual degree students: >= CGPA of 7.0.

Selection Criteria:

Selection of the candidate based on the written test followed by the interview.
