The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) conducts recruitment exam to fill the administrative services under Group B and C posts every year.

Eligibility:

Applicants must have done graduation in any discipline from nay recognized university.

The ages must be ranging in between 19 and 24 years.

Qualifying Disciplines for Eligibility:

Mechanical Engineering/ Mathematics/ Economics/ Chemical Engineering/ Geology/ Civil Engineering/ Natural Sciences

Exam Pattern:

The exam will comprises of the following three stages namely:

Preliminary Exam

Main Exam

Interview .

1. Preliminary Examination

a) English

b) GK (General Knowledge) and

c) Mathematics

Optional Papers:

a) Mathematics

b) Economics

c) Geology

d) Mechanical Engineering

e) Statistics

f) Physics

g) Mechanical Engineering

h) Chemistry

i) Statistics

j) Zoology and

k) Agriculture respectively

Main Examination:

Paper contains the subjective type questions from any two optional papers .

Interview:

The final selection shall be based on the performance of the applicants in all the three examinations.
