There was no Pharmacy College in this region till 1981 and Dr. Patangrao Kadam, Founder of Bharati Vidyapeeth, realising the need for training the students in Pharmaceutical Sciences established Poona College of Pharmacy in 1981.

The Details of the Pharma D Course of the Pharmacy College is given below

Duration : 4 year


Eligibility Criteria

10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects : Mathematics or Biology.

A pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmcy Act.

Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

Age Criteria :
student should complete the age of 17 years

Admission is Based on the Entrance Exam Conducted by the Pharmacy College of the Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune

Entrance Exam

The candidate will be provided with a sealed Test Booklet with an answer sheet.

The candidate will write with ball point pen the required information regarding: Roll Number, Name, Center code and Centre of examination in the columns on the Test Booklet without opening the seal. In the Test Booklet, there will be 200 items/questions serially numbered from 001 to 200.
