The exams of Tamilnadu State Level Eligibility Test will be held in the month of October by Bharathiar University.

The candidates must register for tamil Nadu SLET Exam. They will be given register ID and password also. The candidates can download and print copy of application form after completion their application form of Tamilnadu SLET exams.


Eligiliblity For SLET exam:

There is no age limit for appearing in SLET exam. Any candidate who has post graduate degree can appear for the exam.


The documents are required for the application given here:
1) 2 Passport size photographs of the candidate
2) Scanned copies of bank challan


Syllabus for SLET exam:

In the exam the candidate has appear for total three papers. The subjects are which selected by the candidate.

No, TNSET (Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test) 2019 is not conducted by Bharathiar University, but will be organized by the Mother Teresa Women’s University to check the eligibility of the Assistant professor in Tamil Nadu universities and colleges. It is conducted within a state in 26 subjects.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:
There is no upper age limit to apply.


Qualifying Exam:
One should have Master’s Degree or equivalent exam from Universities/Institutions recognized by UGC New Delhi.


Subjects:
The qualifying exam should be passed with subjects, like Sciences, Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Computer Science & 5 Applications, Electronic Sciences, Library and Information Science.


Minimum Marks:
One must have secured at least 55% of marks for General/ OBC (belonging to Creamy Layer) Category and 50% for OBC (belonging to Non-Creamy Layer)/ Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD-VI/HI/PH).


Appearing Candidates:
One in the final year of master’s degree or one whose result is awaited can also apply.


TNSET Exam Pattern


Mode:
The exam will be conducted through offline mode.

Language of Exam:
The paper will be published in English or Tamil language for some subjects.

Type of Questions:
The questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions.

Duration of Exam:
1 hour will be provided for paper 1 and 2 hours will be for paper 2.

Marking Scheme:
2 marks will be allotted to each correct answer.
