Eligibility:
To apply for distance learning B.Ed. course at Bharathiar University candidates must have Temporary/permanent basis 2 years of full time teaching work experience as primary/ graduate/ postgraduate teachers in a primary/ Secondary/ Matriculum/ Higher Secondary School recognized by the state/ central government.

Teacher must have undergone UG pattern of study and passed the school level examinations conducted by CBSE or state board or any other recognized board of education/ examination and undergraduate degree examinations conducted by UGC.

How to apply:
To apply for distance learning B.Ed. Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the School of Distance Education, Bharathiar University and the city centre of the school of Distance Education by submitting request with a crossed DD from any nationalized bank for Rs 500/- drawn in favor of The Director, School of Distance Education, Bharathiar University coimbatore, payable at coimbatore.

The application form can be obtained from the B.Ed PCP centres as mentioned by the School of Distance Education by paying Rs 500/- in cash.

Hi, Bharathiar University is a state university in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, South India

Admission Process:

Come with your original certificates with attested copies, fill in the application form, pay the fees in any one of the State Bank of India Branches and get admitted.

Spot admission is also done at Bharathiar University.

When you receive the communication informing the provisional selection, you must send all the required documents and tuition fees.

Allotment of Enrolment Number:

The letter informing the confirmation of admission, will contain an enrolment number is allotted to every student joining a course.

Issuance of Identity Card:

An identity Card will be issued at the time of admission.

This is valid for the entire duration of the course.

Hall tickets for the University Examinations will be issued by the Chief Superintendents only on production of this ID card.

Students are advised to keep the ID card carefully, as it provides proof of their bonafide student status

In case of loss of the ID card, a duplicate will be issued on a written request accompanied by a fee of Rs. 50/- (by means of Demand Draft or SBI or BOI Challan) along with one recent identical Stamp – size photograph.

Return of the Original Certificates:

The original certificates submitted at the time of admission shall be returned after verification.

However, the HSC original mark statements shall be returned only after Government verification.
