The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is India's premier nuclear research facility based in Trombay, Mumbai, Maharashtra. It was established on January 3, 1954. BARC is a multi-disciplinary research centre with extensive infrastructure for advanced research and development. Most of the direct recruitment is made at entry level of Scientific/technical officer C. However, they recruit Officers at senior levels, through open advertisements, to meet some specific requirements, which expertise may not be available internally. The norms for direct recruitment to following posts are Post - TO(C) (Translator in Foreign languages) Eligibility- B.Sc./Diploma in Engineering with minimum 60% marks. Degree in Foreign language with 60% marks. 2 years in translation and interpretation. TO(C) (Safety Officer)- Eligibility- BE / ME Degree in Safety Engineering or BE in Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical/Civil Engineering with 60% marks and diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by Central/State Governments. Factory experience in Industrial Safety desirable SO(C) (Radiological Physics)- M.Sc with 60% marks. Diploma in Radiological Physics conducted by BARC SO(F) (Medical Administrator)- MBBS Post Graduate Degree in Hospital Administration 12 years out of which 3 years as Hospital Administrator OR MBBS Diploma in Hospital Administration 15 years out of which 3 years as Hospital administrator |
