OCES – 2016 :

One – Year Orientation Course to engineer Graduates and Science Post-Graduates for the year 2016 – 2017 (OCES – 2016 ) will be directed at five BARC Training Schools arranged at : Mumbai, Kalpakkam, Indore and Hyderabad.

Two – Year DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme for Engineering Graduates and Physics Post – Graduates for the session starting in July/August 2016 ( DGFS – 2016 )

Under this plan, Engineering Graduates and Physics Post-Graduates who are chosen for the BARC Training School system and who additionally have secured affirmation for M.Tech. /M.Chem.Engg. in select establishments and specializations, are paid stipend and educational cost expense to seek after a M.Tech. /M.Chem.Engg. degree while holding their job in DAE.

Qualifying Degrees and Other Academic Requirements for OCES/DGFS – 2016 :

Nationality : Applicant must be a subject of India.

For Engineering Disciplines : B.E. /B.Tech. /B.Sc. ( Engineering )/5-year Integrated M.Tech with at least 60%* total imprints in one of the designing controls. It is to be noticed that there is no Training discipline called „Nuclear Engineering‟ and candidates with a degree in „Nuclear Engineering‟ will be allocated RSE at the BARC Training School, Mumbai or ME or CH at the BARC Training Schools at Mumbai, Kalpakkam or NFC-Hyderabad, as their Training Scheme. Candidates picking to be considered on the premise of a GATE score must have a legitimate GATE – 2015 or GATE – 2016 Score in the same building discipline as the qualifying degree discipline. For Physics Discipline : M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics with Physics and Mathematics at B.Sc. on the other hand at backup and/or auxiliary level in the event of 5-year incorporated M.Sc. on the other hand B.E. /B.Tech. in Engineering Physics with at least 60%* total imprints in the qualifying degree. M. Sc. competitors ( other than those applying with a 5-year coordinated M.Sc. degree ) should also have at least 60%* total imprints in B.Sc. M.Sc. candidates ought to have Physics or Chemistry or Biochemistry or Agriculture Chemistry at the B.Sc. stage or at backup and/or subordinate level if there should be an occurrence of five year coordinated M.Sc. Qualified M.Sc. competitors more likely than not went in Mathematics at Std. XII or at B.Sc. on the other hand at auxiliary and/or subordinate level if there should be an occurrence of five year incorporated M.Sc. All science postgraduate competitors ( other than those applying with a five-year coordinated M.Sc. degree ) should also have at least 60%* total imprints in B. Sc.

BARC Admission to DGFS : Candidates having a qualifying degree in the Engineering disciplines ( ME, CH, MT, EE, EC, CS, IN and CE ) or in Physics ( PH ) and who meet the relating qualification criteria recorded above are qualified to apply for DGFS gave they secure admission to M.Tech. /M.Chem.Engg. beginning in the scholarly year 2016.
