Jamia Millia Islamia is a public central university in Delhi. It was established during British rule in 1920. It became a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1988.

Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA)is the standard under-graduate degree for students seeking a professional education in the visual or performing arts.

It is an interactive course having duration of 3 to 4 years. This course is also known as BVA Bachelor of Visual Arts.Students who have completed their 10+2 can pursue Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Eligibility Of the Bachelor of Fine Arts [BFA]

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or Higher Secondary School Examination from a recognized board of education are eligible for admission to this course.

Although there is no other set criteria but certain universities give preference to students who have studied arts in Higher Secondary and possess some knowledge of Visual and Performance Arts.
