Re: Best between M.E and M. Tech

Both the M.E and M. Tech courses are same. The master’s degree in Engineering was called as ME (Maters of Engineering) and now it is called as M. Tech (Masters of Technology) but in some colleges it is called as ME.

Some peoples said that M.E. course is purely academic qualification and is definitely more respected and recognized degree. M.E. is predominantly a lecture based program which is accredited by one of the professional engineering bodies.

On the other hand, M. Tech program is basically designed to equip students with the basic practical skills with sufficient theory to develop in them the power of systematic thinking and reasoning, practical approach and exposition and also to understand the principles involved in the application.
