Re: Become scientist after B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
As you have done B.Tech Mechanical Engineering so it is very difficult for you to become scientist To become scientist you need graduation degree in B.Sc physics After B.Sc you will have to do M.Sc. If you want to pursue M.Sc from reputed universities then you have to apply for JAM entrance exam After clearing entrance exam you get admission in M.Sc in Physics. After completing M.Sc you will have to do PhD. Once you have completed Ph.D in relative area you will become scientist |

Re: Become scientist after B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
Ok, to become Scientist firstly you have to complete your master degree like M.Sc., M.E/ M.Tech or any other Master’s degree in the related field after B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. To do master degree you have to clear GATE exam. The duration of the master course is 2 or 3 years. After completion of Master course you have to complete Doctoral (Ph.D.) and Post Doctoral degrees provided by various higher education and research institutes. After this apply for various tests like ARS/NET, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) entrance test, Scientist Entrance test by DRDO to pursue your career as a scientist. Some of the Institutes where the scientist can look for jobs are:- Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES) Indian Association for Cultivation of Science, Kolkata (IACS) Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) Scientist Salary Salary of a Scientist depends upon their academic qualification, institute or university from which the degree is attained. To start with the scientists from prestigious institutes like IIT’s, IISc’s etc can get anything between Rs.2,00,000 to Rs.2,50,000 as annual income. |
