To become IPS Officer Percentage criteria required

What is the Required percentage in Graduation to become IPS Officer, please provide here???

IPS - Indian Police Service, to become an IPS officer, one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year.

There is actually no percentage of marks required in Graduation to apply for Civil Service Exam.

Eligibility

1. Candidates of Indian origins are eligible to apply.

2. A bachelor degree in any stream.

3. There is no minimum percentage requirement for IPS.

Age Limit

1. General - 21 to 30 years.
2. OBC - 21 to 33 years.
3. SC/ST - 21 to 35 years.

Physical Requirements

Height:
Male - For General 165 cm and for ST 160 cm
Female - For General 150 cm and for ST 145 cm

Eye Sight:
6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye
6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye
No color blindness or night blindness
