The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is India's premier nuclear research facility based in Maharashtra which is a multi-disciplinary research centre with extensive communications for advanced research and development covering the entire field of nuclear science, engineering and related areas.

DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme

DGFS or DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme is for all the selected candidates, who secure M.Tech. admission in select institutes on their own (based on valid GATE score) in specializations as specified in the advertisement and also secure admission for the OCES courses stand qualified for the DGFS fellowship.

The DGFS fellows are paid stipend and tuition fees to pursue the M.Tech course.

After completion of one-year course work at select institutes, the fellows undertake a one year project work, which is assigned and supervised jointly by a DAE and an institute guide. On completion of M.Tech, they are posted as Scientific Officers in DAE.
