Hey dear as you said you want to know the procedure after allotment of bank ok here I am telling you step by step procedure:-


1.) After allotment you will get mail about appointment letter on the same e-mail id and also bank will send appointment letter at your correspondence address which contains all the details regarding the date and venue of the joining and training centre.

2.) Banks send offer letter within 2 months from date of announcement of final result.

In offer letter banks will give details about all the methodology and salary structure they follow. Bank will give details of place of allotment also.

You will be allotted nearest branch as per preference made but it is not compulsory that they will be given nearest branch.

3.)You will be intimated by the bank to inform at zonal office or regional office for document verification and to finish joining formalities. Banks usually conduct 10 or 15 days training program where they will teach you about banking function and process


Some Joining Formalities:
You will be asked to do the below things before joining

1. Medical Fitness Certificate issued by Gazetted Medical officer. Some test to be done are:
1.Urine test
2.Stool test
3. X-ray of the chest
4. Blood Test
2. Your academic documents and all the certificate which you have mentioned in application form have to be verified again at the time of joining
3. ID Proof: You have to carry valid identity proof with yourself at the time of joining.
4. Banks also do police verification at place where you live for last 5 years. You have to mention the place where and in which city do you live in last 5 years, so that bank can have a police verification of your record.Police verification will be done 4 to 5 months afterwards

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is an autonomous agency in India. It organizes exam for PO and Clerk vacancies for various banks.

Eligibility for Clerk

Age to be min 20 years & max 28 yrs
(+5 yrs for sc/st & + 3 for obc)

Pass in degree (any discipline) from a recognized university

Ability to read/write/speak in local language of the state applying is necessary.

Computer knowledge is compulsory

You should have studied computers in high school/college as a subject OR must have a certificate from computer institute.

Exam Pattern:

IBPS clerk exams is a two stage process –

Preliminary & Main Exam
Both are to be conducted only online.

Prelim exam

Prelims test will have 100 questions that should be answered within 1 hour.

Cutoffs would be fixed for each section & also for the total score, which you need to secure.

Only those who qualify in the preliminary test will be eligible for main examination.

Main exam

Main exam: 200 questions with a total duration of 2 hours.

You must achieve the cutoff scores (section-wise & total) to be called for common interviews.

For every wrong answer, negative mark of 0.25 would also be reduced in both prelim & main exam.
