There are various examinations conducted for the Bank Probationary Officer (PO) across the country.

The Probationary officer of a bank has to work on different feature and departments of the bank such as;

Loan Department,
Mortgage and finance department,

Salary
At present a newly joined Bank Clerk’s Basic Pay is Rs.8,000.
After merging the 60.15% DA as on 01.11.2011 to Basic Pay, it will be Rs.12,812/-

Salary Components:
Basic Salary,
Dearness Allowance (DA),
House Rent Allowance (HRA),
City Compensatory Allowance (CCA).
