State Bank of India (SBI) conducts its bank PO Exam for the recruitment of Probationary Officer in Banks. The examination will be held in the month of November 2014.

SBI PO Exam Eligibility-

Graduation or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
Final year students of their Graduation/Semester can also apply.

Age must be between 21 years to 30 years.
Relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST /Ex-servicemen candidates.

Nationality: Indian

Important Dates-

Opening Date for Registration: 01 September 2014
Closing Date for Registration: 18 September 2014
Payment of Fees – Offline: 03 September - 20 September 2014
Call Letters for Written Examination: 27 October 2014
Date of Examination: November 2014 (Tentatively)

Exam Pattern-

Phase I:

Objective Test of English Language, General Awareness, Data analysis and interpretation, reasoning (200 Marks)

Descriptive test of English Language (comprehension, small outline, article and letter writing) 50 Marks

Phase II:

Group Discussion 20 Marks
Group Discussion (Rural) 10 Marks
Interview 30 Marks
Experience 10 Marks
The exam will be conducted in various centers in almost all parts of India.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts the probationary officer exam on the behalf of various banks.

The dates for the IBPS PO exam were:

14.02.2015
15.02.2015
21.02.2015

Eligibility:

Candidate need to pass bachelors degree form recognized university in any steam.

Age:

Candidate age should be between 21 years to 28 years

The IBPS PO exam pattern: The exam has following sections

1 Reasoning 50 marks
2 English Language 40 marks
3 Quantitative Aptitude 50 marks
4 General Awareness (with special reference to Banking Industry) 40 marks
5 Computer Knowledge 20 marks
Total 200 marks

Duration: 2 hours
