Bank of India Medical Test
Can you tell me if there is any Medical Test in selection process in Bank of India for Clerk post as one of my friend told me that one needs to clear the Medical exam too?

No. there is no Medical Test in selection process in Bank of India for Clerk post. Bank of India recruits clerks every year on the basis of the clerk common written exam conducted by IBPS. Selection Procedure: 1. IBPS Clerk Common Written Exam: The common written exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking personnel section (IBPS) every year which is accepted by 19 banks for recruiting Clerks. The qualified candidates will be issued a score card and it is valid for one year from the date of issuing. 2. Interview: Depending on the number of vacancies, the bank reserves the right to call only those candidates who have sufficiently high score in the common written exam for Interview. 3. Interview Marks: The total marks for Interview is of 100. The minimum qualifying marks for the General Candidates is 50% and for reserved category candidates is 45% (SC/ST/OBC). 4. Final Selection: The selection to the post of Clerk is entirely based on the total weighted score obtained in the common written exam and the marks obtained in Interview. Eligibility Details: 1. Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India. 2. Age limit: Minimum age should be 18 years and maximum age is of 28 years. Age is relaxable for the reserved candidates as per the rules. 3. Educational Qualification: One need to complet Higher Secondary School (HSC) Exam or Standard XII under the 10+2+3 pattern or Standard XI under the 11+4 pattern or its equivalent from a recognized Educational Board, acceptable to the Bank. One must have proficiency in Computer Awareness & Office Automation & should complete a Course on duration of minimum 3 months from a Computer Institute, is desirable. One must have knowledge of Regional Language of a particular State/Union Territory for which candidate apply, is essential. Those possessing minimum Total Weighted Standard Score (TWSS) in the Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS, should only apply. |
