Bank of Baroda selects the candidates for the post of Probationary Officer on the basis of IBPS PO exam

Here I am providing you the syllabus of it

It will be an objective test which will consist of three papers:
English Language (30 Questions, 30 Marks)
Quantitative Aptitude (35 Questions, 35 Marks)
Reasoning Ability (35 Questions, 35 Marks)

There will be 100 questions and will be of 100 marks.

Total time allotted will be 1 hour.

Main Examination: Those who will clear preliminary examination will be eligible to appear in the Main Examination
Reasoning (50 Questions, 50 Marks)
1. English Language (40 Questions, 40 Marks)
2. Quantitative Aptitude (50 Questions, 50 Marks)
3. General Awareness (with special reference to Banking Industry) (40 Questions, 40 Marks)
4. Computer Knowledge (20 Questions, 20 Marks)

There will be 200 questions and will be of 200 marks.

Total time allotted will be 2 hour.

Wrong answers in objective test will attract negative marks
(1/4th of marks assigned to that question) for the online test.

Syllabus
Reasoning:- Focus on Comprehensional Reasoning, Venn Diagrams, Number Series, Coding and de-coding, Problem Solving Techniques, Statement & Conclusion type questions, arithmetic reasoning, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements.

English Language:- Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test etc.

Quantitative Aptitude:- Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Date Interpretation is the section which have to be focused.

General Awareness:- Questions will be asked from Indian Current Events, Banking, General Science, General Knowledge. Focus will be mainly on Current affairs of National & International news, Important dates, Current Science, Technology, Sports & Culture & Banking Sector. Some questions from Marketing can come in the exam.

Computer Awareness:- Basic of Computers, Computer Organization, Generations of computer, Input & Output Device, Shortcuts & Basic knowledge MS word, MS Excel, MS power point, Memory Orientation, Internet, LAN, WAN, Modem, Computer Abbreviations, Modern day Technology. Remember short cut Tricks of MS Word, MS Excel & Computer Abbreviations.
